Team Katusha (Russian: Катюша, UCI team code:KAT) is a Russian road bicycle racing team which participates in the UCI World Tour, using Focus bikes.
At the beginning of the 2009 season, the Tinkoff Credit Systems squad was renamed to Team Katusha. It is organised by the Russian Global Cycling Project foundation, which itself is funded by Russian businesses such as Gazprom, Itera and Rostechnologii.
The team was launched with a large budget of over €15 million. It signed leading cyclists such as Robbie McEwen, Vladimir Karpets, Filippo Pozzato, and Gert Steegmans. The team first raced at the 2009 Tour Down Under.During the 2009 season, the team earned 23 wins. Some of the notable wins were Sergey Ivanov’s Amstel Gold victory and Filippo Pozzato's Italian road title. Antonio Colom tested positive for EPO.
Since the creation of Team Katusha in 2009, its various riders have won many competitions for the team. Here are listed the most meriting wins, consisting of Grand Tour stages, Classics wins, and overall wins in the UCI Europe Tour and UCI World Tour (before known UCI World Ranking and UCI ProTour merged from the beginning of those 2011 season) racing series.
